Sir Arthur C. Clarke, one of the great masters of 20th-century
science fiction and a founding member of the International Science
Writers Association, will kick off the Conference. From his home
in Sri Lanka, the man who co-scripted 2001, A Space Odyssey
with Stanley Kubrick will discuss the importance of networking
for science communicators around the world and the new challenges
raised by emerging science.
